Hello! My name is Tessé! I have been practicing herbalism within my family and with friends for over 20 years and have recently decided to bring my experience and passion to the next level. I started my herbal journey as a young teen in the deserts of Southern California where I was taught about local plants and their medicinal qualities. As I grew, I learned more about the flora from the many other regions that I lived or visited. My journey lead me to the Appalachian Mountains of Southwestern Virginia where I found forage aplenty and a bounty of natural resources. In 2020 I purchased a large property with my family where I can wander and discover the sheer abundance that this land has to offer. My path brought me to many local mountain “herbalists” who were eager to teach me about this area. After much thought I decided to open up shop, to continue my education in herbalism and to share my knowledge with others. My passion for wildcrafting (or foraging) and for helping others to feel their best have now become a beautiful family run business within The Wildcraft Herbalist.
